Dockside - Senecaville

Steak sandwich is the best! Home fries are great as well. Service is slow. Took one and a half hours to get our food from the time we sat down. I understand being busy and short on staff but I feel you should be honest and tell people the time it will take. Maybe only seat the number of tables you have the wait staff to serve and the kitchen can handle in a reasonable amount of time. Our waitress tried her best but was very busy and it was hard to get drinks and the condiments I wanted to enjoy my food. She was very apologetic, but it really wasn't her fault. Like I said she did her best. You will enjoy the good but it will take some time to get it so be prepared.

LOVE this place! Always a friendly staff and delicious food. Love sitting outside with a breeze and a view! MUST try the shrimp and the bbq!!

OMG! Bring ur own food. This place does NOT need to be open. The food is pitiful, the service is the worst. Never, Ever again! It is sad when McD's burger is better than this cardboard with cheese. Waitress VeRy rude. For goodness sakes~ bring your own lemon for the unsweet tea. You'd think we had a shortage or something!!!

First time to visit I'll start with the staff they are amazing and attentive. We were able to enjoy our dinner outside. I ordered to Scallops which were good but if they seared instead of just poached they would have been perfect.

I visited the Dockside again, and once more, they were out of various menu items. This morning, they didn't have any hollandaise sauce. There was a time when they were out of hamburgers, and another time when they didn't have blue cheese. With Eggs Benedict being a new addition to the menu, it seems strange that they wouldn't have hollandaise sauce available. Even though this is the only restaurant on the lake, it's consistently disappointing. They had the ingredients to prepare the hollandaise, and we even asked the waitress to check with the chef about making it. The manager seemed indifferent and always has an excuse. I won't be dining here again.
