Popped in to see if they sold espresso beans to the public and to my surprise they do! I got lucky and met the owner he was so nice and knowledgeable. You can tell he is so passionate. Basically gave me a complimentary tasting of some of the espresso beans. So excited to have found a local coffee roaster

Always freshly roasted coffee available, within just a few days which is hard to find in Chicago. Everyone is knowledgeable about coffee and was able to guide to customers preferences. The espresso Havana is probably one of the best espresso beans!

This business has another on-line brand of Custom Coffees, LLC. It's extremely slow with order processing, untimely delivery, and poor service. While we were waiting for the order while the holiday was approaching, nobody answered our calls or replied to our emails. We cancelled our customized-order intended for Christmas gift. Then Mark Lagoa called us for mercy. We agreed to retake the order even after we had spent $1600 elsewhere with a substitute offer. Mark promised $500 coupons. Once the payment went through, Mark ignored us, gave no cooperation to sort out the credit card confusion, and not to mention any coupon. This is a business without shame.

Getting a bag of freshly roasted Sparrow coffee was game-changing for my home espresso game. I live in West Loop, so was able to order beans for pick-up from the roastery. The beans I picked up were roasted the previous day, so they were insanely fresh. They also produced some of the best tasting espresso I've made! They have a wide variety of different beans and grinds as well, which is awesome. This is now my go-to company for getting freshly roasted beans in the city.
