The food is quite delectable, abit on the salty side. I would recommend the onion soup and meatloaf. We also tried the roast warm beef sandwich and burger but nothing fantastic. Portion and price is very reasonable so I will be back to try more dishes.
Nice bistro in Dempsy exuding those old-school cafe vibes. The menu is priced really reasonably (had 3 mains, 1 kids meal, 2 alcoholic beverages, a juice and a desert and the bill was less than $110 all in! , but the food is just slightly above average but not wow your socks off level (thus the 4 stars . Service is great though, so that's a massive ! Will definitely come back for a meal again at
Really good food, and nice ambiance. Pretty affordable for a good steak place! Highly recommend! Staff were also helpful in recommending dishes as we were new to the place! Place is also kid friendly, with a playground and also accessible by car with a carpark in front of the building entrance!
After shopping at Huber's Butchery, my wife and I had lunch at Huber's Bistro. We chose the outdoor dining terrace which is located besides shady trees and shrubs. In addition, there is an indoor air-conditioned dining area. We ordered the specialty sausages and Flat Iron steak (as our preferred US Prime Sirloin Steak was not available). Our meal was enjoyable. Service staff enquired about our meal from time-to-time and replenished our drinking water frequently.
Both alfresco and indoor seating are available. Friendly and well-oiled team. Onion soup was of excellent flavor with generous slices of onion. Great with a cheese toast. Mushroom soup contained a chokeful of mushroom. A little too thickened (with flour) for me. Spider steak was very good and the flavor was distinct. The Paris butter was amazing. Flat Iron steak was average and was more medium than MR, rendering it too dry. Hanger steak was the best of the 3 steaks. A crusty sear and has the balance of flavor and taste. The steaks were offered with a choice of fries or potato tartiflette (baked potato, bacon and gruyère). My only gripe is the cooking temperature, being served medium rather than MR. Braised Beef Short Rib was tender with a good accompanying sauce. The whipped potato was smooth. They have a member reward system, spending of $500 entitles to a $15 voucher. I would highly recommend this joint for value-for-money steaks.
