There was no physical menu, but the owner kindly informed us of the five dishes available. The food was straightforward and enjoyable, though it was served at room temperature.
I enjoyed my visit to Doka Dauji. The food was absolutely fresh and delicious. The menu changes daily, so it is always seasonal. I had the creamy soup, Basmati rice with two vegetable dishes and the chickpea patties. So happy. The staff is friendly and attentive. I will definitely visit every time I am in Sofia!
There was no menu, only daily lunch consisting of lentil soup and main dish. Everything was delicious and very affordable ~4€ for both).
On Saturday, I visited 3 and found only Samosas and soup on the menu. However, they were incredibly delicious! The owner mentioned that there are more food options available during the week. Regardless, I recommend visiting if you're looking to try delicious plant-based, East-inspired dishes.
We visited the restaurant on Friday, September 14th and again on Monday, September 17th, only to find it closed both times. There was no sign on the door, and according to HappyCow, it was supposed to be open. It may be temporary, but we recommend calling ahead to confirm. We don't want others to be disappointed like we were.
