Lamont Tavern - Solvay

We had the steak special perfectly cooked and served pipping hot. What a value.

Food, drinks and service were great, simple and easy. We had the fish, bang bang shrimp and steak sandwich. We will definitely be back to try other items on the menu! Good craft beer too!

This restaurant is great! The wings were perfectly crispy and saucy, the tacos were delicious, and my friend enjoyed the burger and fries. Everything tasted just right. I would give it a 9 out of 10, only complaining that the wings didn't come with celery, which is my favorite part. The burger was ordered medium but was a bit heavy, and the tacos were missing the acidic element advertised in their weekly Taco Tuesday promotion. I'm sure there's a good reason for these discrepancies, but I will definitely be back to try more.

The restaurant experience was terrible. We waited an hour and a half for the chicken quesadillas we ordered at the bar. We had to provide our own apron, plastic utensils, and napkins. We also had to retrieve our drinks from the bar ourselves. When the quesadillas finally arrived after the long wait, they had a small amount of cheese, a tiny piece of chicken (which was actually a chicken tender), and a small amount of bell peppers that we paid extra for. Overall, the experience was awful and we will not be returning. Thank you, but no thanks.

This is a great place for bar food. It was neat and the staff was welcoming. The food was served hot and packed with delicious flavor.
