I had chicken mole enchiladas with pureed black beans and rice. This is mole made from scratch, not from a jar like at some other Mexican restaurants. The black beans look like the mole. Your taste buds tell you which is which. They got the rice right; I ate it in spite if the fact that I usually don 't eat rice. Now let 's talk about the agua de jamaica. This is hibiscus water. Hibiscus are red flowers that get brewed in hot water. Add sugar and chill it. (You can make this at home. It 's the bomb in summertime. Sonoma Eats is more restrained when adding sugar than all other taquerias I 've tried. The result is a delicious drink that complements the food, and you don 't have to worry about getting diabetes from it. My current favorite are the mushroom enchiladas. I have them twice per month! I 'll force myself to get some carnitas tacos...some day.

I love Sonoma Eats's fish tacos, tinga tostadas, and its gorditas. If you're Mexican, you don't want to miss these 3 items.
This place is a hidden gem! We were looking for Mexican food and happened to walk into this place. The staff was super friendly and helped us pick food and it was super yummy! The kids enjoyed their quesadillas and us adults loved the chicken enchiladas. I have had a lot of Mexican food in my life and this was definitely one of the best places I've been!
