Twohey's - South Pasadena

This American family restaurant has a new location, but it continues to offer the same beloved experience that generations have enjoyed. The food here is superior, and the personal service is much warmer compared to what you typically find at large chain establishments. It's truly a standout in the dining scene.

I recently visited the new Fair Oaks location and found the food to be quite good. The interior has a chic vibe, and the prices are reasonable for the quality. I ordered an omelet, but unfortunately, it was overcooked and dry. However, the atmosphere is great for hanging out, making it a perfect spot for sports and entertainment.

I've been searching for a restaurant that compares to my favorites on the East Coast, and I've finally found it! Everything we ordered was fantastic. From the French toast topped with orange zest to the grilled cheese, the omelettes, and the avocado toast—every dish was delicious. The pancakes weren't very fluffy, but they still tasted great. Since moving to the area, my kids have been looking for a place that serves chocolate chip pancakes, and they have finally found it. This is definitely a wonderful spot to enjoy a meal!

This is like a modern day dinner, very clean and bright. It was surprisingly very good. I had fish and chip and a tuna sandwich. Both were the best I had. That would be highly recommended.

We wanted to try Twohey even before they moved from Alhambra to South Pasadena. Foods and services are good, but it is a bit pricey compared to similar restaurants.
