Feedback gevenEftpos worked when we visited february; no problem to pay. the gelato we had was fabulous, the texture was smooth and it was not too sweet. we enjoyed it very much, and the lady serving was cheerful and polite. we're safe back.
I want to mention that this restaurant only accepts cash payments. The broken EFTPOS sign indicates this, causing confusion for customers. They should consider offering contactless payment options, especially during a pandemic. It's irresponsible to put people at risk just to avoid paying transaction fees.
I went to the restaurant and unfortunately, they only accepted cash as their Eftpos machine was not working. Despite the inconvenience, I understood the situation. After waiting for a few minutes, I placed my order for a cone with two flavors. The male staff member began preparing my ice cream when I noticed a sign for the first time that said they did not accept credit cards. I asked the staff member if they accepted credit cards, to which he confirmed they did not. I explained that I was unable to pay in cash, and he said it was okay. Ultimately, I decided to leave without purchasing anything due to the lack of payment options available. This experience was disappointing and I recommend that the owner fix the Eftpos machine and properly train the staff on how to handle such situations. I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for years, visiting multiple times a week, and have faced similar situations in the past where I did not have cash on hand but was still able to enjoy my ice cream and pay the next day. This incident could have been handled better.
The restaurant was very crowded with a long line, but the staff was quick and efficient. I was impressed with how well they handled the continuous stream of customers.
Great Gelato with friendly staff, heaps of different flavours to choose from for a great price, would recommend.
