Seabreeze Beach Hotel

After a day on the road we needed a cool ale and wine. The view was nice and food hit the spot. Friendly staff and atmosphere.

We chose to visit this hotel on a Saturday night. It wasn't overly busy. All the staff were very pleasant. The food menu was average. Typical pub grub. We had to wait a long time for our order despite it not being overly busy. The bread, chorizo balls and oysters for entrees were good. The barramundi was moist and presented well. The steak however was over cooked and stone cold. The pizza was average. An average meal. Not one to rave about!

No need to pad out a review. Wasn't expecting much, and was very happy with my meal.I had the steak with chimmichurri and a fried egg. Daaamn. Would absolutely eat it again.The key with pub steak is to order it rarer than usual, and it worked.

After poor service - a very long wait - at our last visit 12 months ago, we tried Seebreeze again this visit. What a mistake.I ordered Lamb Shanks - a simple dish hard to spoil. But when it comes cold and vegies TOO crisp, warm and not completely cooked, a real disappointment.I will not be going back in a hurry.

We are staying at the local caravan park and decided to go the the SeaBreeze for dinner. Our Neighbours said they hoped the food had improved. We thought we would give it a try anyway, what a big mistake! We ordered the braised lamb shanks. They turned up quick, but that was as good as it got. They were tough, gristly and cold. Obviously heated in a microwave. Such a shame as it is in a great location and close by. If you have to go there, go for the drinks only! They have lost any futures sales from us!
