Sunrise Diner - Speculator

Big little diner in downtown Speculator. The food is excellent, especially omelets. I recommend this diner.

Looking for a dive and found it! My wife was confused why we were stopping at a used car lot? No credit cards! Cash only! Had a great breakfast here before continuing on our journey. Nice visit with some locals. Hot chocolate, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, potatoes, toast jelly.

Stopped on our way through, the food was awesome! I had their chicken sandwich, and it had the best crunch I've had in a very long time! The fries are amazing. Small, cozy hometown style diner, good portions, decent prices. Definitely has a moms kitchen type of feel.

Prefect end for our week in Moffit Beach... This place was highly recommended by locals and they were not wrong!!! We literally packed our buckets (we parked next door in the warehouse) and climbed there at 8 o'clock... the place is small and very secret. We were greeted with a smile and a good morning... we sat at an open table and served warm coffee and gave a menu to see. My wife got a white spinach omelett (OMG it was sooo good) I have all my time Fav... Bioscuits and Gravy!! These were sooo delicious... freshly made cookies, light and fluffy. The paved engraving creamy and delightful on the pallet...if you find yourself in Moffit Beach Speculator area... it is worth the stop!!

Probably the best breakfast we had in many years and several states. Her fried potatoes were amazing, the pancakes were very good, bacon was perfect, and hubby's omelet was made with fresh ingredients and delicious. Coffee was good too! Service was good, even if we choose their outdoor kitchen. They were very busy and it was full inside so the outer dining option worked well for us. We feel better for fewer people in this post-covid world. I wish we had taken some photos because you could see the quality of the food. Unless we have...
