Basic service (side note I have a strong feeling the owners are not Thai but that is just my assumption . Honestly sometimes sitting in extremely dim rooms makes me scared they 're hiding something... (dirt, rodents? . Just tried PAD THAI chicken, you can taste that the chicken was frozen and not defrosted properly, pad Thai sauce tasted like it was store bought from a jar. They 've apparently upgraded and got Thai iced tea (read a review prior and someone complained they didn 't have it so I tried because of that very reason. It was present with no straw and a lot of ice (not to mad about no straw cause it would have been plastic but... idk... . One server and one chef during my visit (5:30pm 6:30pm . If your craving Thai and can 't drive to the city this is okay... I guess... But I would NOT go here again. Curiosity had been answered.
Food was great but the service was the worst I have seen. It wasn't busy at all and we waited over 20'minutes for our bill which in absolutely hate it's one of my pet peeves. They had quite a selection on the menu but the service ruined this experience for me. I'll try again and edit this review if necessary.
The food here wasn't amazing nor was it a disaster, but we would not recommend! We had the pad thai chicken pineapple fried rice and though were accustomed to really delicious Thai food, considering the Yelp rating, this place was a disappointment. Service was minimal, never refilled our water until right before we left nor gave us any plates to share our food so we ate from the dish . Also, a previous Yelper said this place wasn't really run by an authentic Thai owner.. which honestly, could make the difference between a good and bad Thai cuisine.
Local OKAY Food Meh, service Okay service, was dinning alone received appetizer and main at the same time. But the food came immediately, and she kept my glass full Food, Green Papaya Salad: Tough dish to get right. Tasted like green papaya, It lacked heat, and lacked that crazy flavor that makes me eat it despite the heat. Maybe missing the fermented crab PadThai reasonable portion. Again the dish lacked that irresistible Thai flavor. The sauce was very thick.. like it came from a jar.
Delicious blue eyed Thai food. Don't expect authentic Thai food but western interpretations of the cuisine. We had the boat noodles, spring rolls and spicy seafood salad . The boat noodles had savoury, sweet and sour flavour profiles, good comfort food. While the spring rolls were crisp but lacked flavour. The spicy seafood salad was good but you have to be able to take the heat. Spice root is nice departure from hamburgers and brewpubs
