The leaves had not been cleaned at all! With closer inspection I found a big insect in the leaves of the bushkie. It was over one inch in length. I immediately felt sick at my discovery and wondered if I had consumed mistakes in what I had already eaten. I lost my appetite. I scraped the food on our plates into the food tanks and returned the next day to the restaurant to demand a full refund. Two managers visited my concerns: a man and a female. The male hardly spoke except sometimes to argue between the difference between "mistake" and "fall" and refuse to give me a refund. The woman was more singing, and she made it clear that there was not her policy to give a refund. I talked to them about quality control, health and safety of their customers, managers discretion, as they claim to receive the approval of the main office, reputation effects, the money that I lost because the food could not be eaten, the food industry, how sick I am in thinking of food food with bugs and dirt, customer satisfaction, etc., etc. They were unapologetic to admit to the female manager that she just said she had to call the main office on Monday to get me out of the restaurant. You have to understand that I spoke discreetly and quietly, but nothing reached these two. Finally, they offered me credit for the Bok Choy court, but I explained that I did not care to eat their food after what I found. As it was clear that no reasonable concern or argument would be considered, It left a bad taste in my mouth in more than a way. In short, I will not come back because the mistake and dirt found in my food, and finally how bad they treat a customer.
The food was very delicious and fresh. The service is also fast and affordable. We took food home because the portions were good. Yeah, I'd go back here.
I've been there a few times. Good food and staff are usually friendly, but after a while do not go there, I decided last night with the menu on this website and was annoying to find I paid $4.00 more for...both the General Tao Chicken and Shanghai Fried Noodles as advertised here (Note, the official website has the right prices).
If you are looking for AUTHENTIC Chinese food in Niagara, then this is the place to go. Eating is definitely the star here! Portions are perfect with reasonable prices. I was here a few times and every time the food was consistent. Definitely my...for Asian cuisine.
We made our first visit to this restaurant today and I will absolutely go again? The service was great! Our female waitress was very good! She was very comical! The food was very quick to come to our table! Portion size was good! There are...well over 90 items on the menu with a range of heat!
