Cafe Amore - St. Catharines

I've heard good things about this restaurant and tonight I can say that all the reviews I've heard and read ring true!! I personally don't feel like there are a lot of good restaurants in St. Catharines but this place delivers in every which way. My friend had a shrimp dish and I had chicken that had crab on top. Sooooo much flavour and good portion sizes! And then came dessert. Gluten free white chocolate brownie cake. Wow!!!!!! Whether its date night or girls night or a family outing you have to try this place!! Well done Cafe amore! My birthday is next month and I'm telling my hubby where I'd like to have dinner ;)

My friend & I travelled to St. Catharines today to meet with two other pals who recommended this fabulous Mediterranean Restaurant. We were seated quickly to a quiet corner of the restaurant and this table was wonderful. Our Server, Selena , was fantastic! She was very informative about some the various dishes we inquired about. She was also attentive but not overly. She was a perfect server.I ordered the Gorgonzola Mushroom Melt and it was the best I have ever tasted. Delicious with the house made fries. My travelling companion ordered the Gorgonzola & Bacon Burger and she raved about how delicious it was. My friends, who have been here before because they live in a nearby city also had fantastic meal choices of the Tuscan Chicken & the Warm Spinach Salad. Their choices looked GREAT to me.I can highly recommend Café Amore if you are in St Catharines or in that area. It’s worth the trip.

We and neighbours decided to have dinner together and settled on Café Amoré, about 15 minutes from home. We had made reservations and, though we arrived about 15 minutes early, our table was reserved and available. The food is absolutely excellent (there is a great three-dish menu available which also excellent, in choices and quality), well served by attentive wait staff. In fact, it is so good that my wife decided that she wants to go there on her birthday instead of her previous choice. I cannot comment on the vert varied desserts which look fantastic ans we do not deal in sweets. The ambiance is fantastic, so much so that it reminds us of European restaurants, where strangers speak to one another - and enjoy it -,the music is not loud and, contrary to many restaurants, in the summer you don't need a fleece jacket because the temperature is kept very low. A great evening !

I'd come here with my family for my grandmothers birthday. The food was absolutely delicious and we all raved about our desserts. Even the beer was yummy. The inside is a mix of outdoor/industrial an it ends up to be very comfortable chic.

Food was amazing. We went for my husbands birthday. The drinks! The food! The atmosphere! its was all great. Even our waiter, who was not thrilled to be there that night, tried his best. We could tell he was not having a good night. We rarely order dessert..here it's a MUST!
