Naysa Fusion - St. Catharines

Love this place! I had a hot pot, everything you can eat bbq, and their regular dishes for lunch and dinner and I will never leave. The owner is a pleasure and everything has always been perfectly cooked, good, except the hot pot and bbq since... They cook the food themselves. If you are not sure how something works (how to cook food or how to order) ask You just, the staff is always friendly and happy to help.

We were here for the birthday party of our nephew and our excitement turned quickly to frustration. The experience of everything you can eat, cooking and mixing You your own meal at the table requires a little knowledge and so the waiter should begin by asking if we have ever been... there were earlier what they did not. We were left in the dark how everything works, including how to order how to turn on the trill, etc. We ordered tempura vegetables appetizers and Calamari. When it arrived, there was no sauce....we were asked to go to the corner of the room to get various sauces. Our choices were hot sauce, peanut sauce (the old one) and wasabi mayo super bad choice! I am confused with the photos in other reviews with vegetables in the metal floors... when we went (a Thursday dinner) there were empty bowls and old carrots. No salad. No onions. Just old sauce and carrots. I will say that the meat we ordered was good (especially the replacement rib). But if the server would turn off our forks and plates and pliers, it crosses with the raw meat several times. There were no knives. We had to chew the steak with our teeth. Basically, we only ate meat, nothing else like the rice we ordered never showed up. The waitress said she forgot. We finally have it with our dessert (a bowl of ice cream). I think of the good reviews that this place has potential to be decent, but we have the feeling that the experience would have explained us. Especially for $30 per person. It won't go back. It's too bad because the owner was super nice.

We've been here as regular guests for over two years. Every time we feel the effort and know-how that goes into good work. Service is always at the highest level. Food is the next level. Fresh ingredients, delicious and more and more then enough portions. One...and we love when they bring these little free Kimchi appetizers before the meal. The little things with this place that put it apart. Great job guys, you made a few customers for life. Go on what you do.

I have been here multiple times and each time I leave feeling underwhelmed. I am not sure if I will be returning in the future. It's strange that I always have high hopes for a better experience. The food is decent, but it doesn't blow me away. The last time I went, I ordered the chicken teriyaki. It arrived without any sauce or teriyaki flavor, just a dry seasoning of salt and sesame seeds. The chicken was tasty, but it wasn't what I had anticipated. It seemed to be a healthier option. However, I did enjoy the kimchi.

I have passed by this restaurant for years and finally decided to give it a try with a friend who is a regular customer. The entrance area is currently undergoing renovations, presumably to add a chef's table. The owner personally served us and was very friendly. There were many menu items that caught my eye. I enjoyed my food and the adorable condiment tray that came with the meal. It was the most affordable lunch I have had in a while. I highly recommend giving it a try!
