Whiskey River Pub And Grill - St Roch

The house favorite Whiskey River Burger was awesome. Between the garlic aeoli, bacon, roll, crumbly blue and hand made patty. I would put this burger up against any Rochester burger. Our server Rosie was perfect. We will be back. Annie and I love this place.

Our dinners were very disappointing. We've had much better at other competitors. We ordered the bbq pulled pork chicken dinners. The bbq pulled pork was good but needed more sauce. The pulled chicken was extremely dry and also needed more bbq sauce, as well. The corn was mushy seasoned terribly. I couldn't eat it. Our soda refills were flat the server gave it to us anyways. Machine were being changed out, but by the time it was done, we were just about ready to leave. I'm sorry to say that it just wasn't a good experience.

We didn't eat but the place was very very cool. Service was good. Cocktails were not weak LOL. You can get my meaning there. I will definitely be back. Lots of music at a lot of different times. Close to the water. Parking was not difficult. But it was not a very busy time. You may want to get there early if you are going to see a popular band.

Overall a good time! It did however take over 1 hour from ordering a fish fry until I got it... And it was so greasy. Not going to do that again. Wings are great.

Don't go for dinner on the patio when there's a band! No excuse why we waited over an hour and a half and never got our food while our friends got served and arrived after us! We didn't order anything difficult either, a rheuben and burrito bowl.
