Bf loved it and he is not a mushroom eater (something wrong with the guy . The brocolli was amazing i would've been happy with just a bowl of that.<br/ <br/ Service friendly and quick. I had a glass of Haskell cab sav and him the Shiraz both lovely.<br/ <br/ So keen to go back to try the other platters<br/ <br/ Edit:went back last night for dinner. Wow! Both salmon and beef cold starters were amazing. Pork belly main and lemon meringue otherworldly. Just wow
Not only did the restaurant have an amazing view over all the vineyards, but the service was excellent and staff incredibly friendly. The menu is designed for the customers to order share plates. The food was tasty and fresh and i will definitely go back there for the experience again.
I ate the oxtail and my boyfriend ate the pork belly. It was very delicious and very reasonable and we had a lovely time with family! Our waiter was extremely on the ball always ready to fill empty glasses and remove plates after our meal! The view at sunset is something a picture doesn't do justice of ; thouroghly enjoyed the time here and definitely would recommend ... The waiting time was reasonable and sadly this place wasn't even fully booked .. Great and beautiful location hidden gem
What a lovely evening we had at the Long Table. <br/ Our server was incredibly friendly, engaging, and attentive. It is always such a better experience overall when you have an outstanding server. Our servers name was Josh and he helps our evening be so enjoyable.<br/ <br/ Another plus was the view. It was rolling vineyards with sun kissed mountains as a backdrop. Beautiful on so many levels.<br/ <br/ On the food side, I had the fig and Parma ham salad starter which was stunning. It was not too big, nor too small. For a main I had the duck breast. Is was soft with well paired side vegetables. It was not the best duck I have ever had in my whole life, however it was flavorful and well cooked. My husband had the oxtail which was soft, well seasoned, and tasty. There were also some other dishes that sounded fabulous. <br/ We skipped dessert but there looked to be some yummy choices there as well. <br/ <br/ He ambiance was relaxed and have the feeling of a small intimate dinner spot. <br/ <br/ I don't have an specific negative comments, but maybe the set up of how you enter the restaurant could be thought through better, or just someone to direct you. It is possible we entered the wrong space, but I don't think so. We were a little unsure of where exactly to go, but our server quickly sorted us out. <br/ <br/ If you are looking for excellent service and yummy food, although there is a seriously long list around the area, put the Long Table on it as an easy flowing place, and see what you think for yourself. <br/ <br/ <br/ <br/
The food here is excellent and the setting is so beautiful! We had a seat right at the edge so we had uninterrupted view of the beautiful vineyards and surrounds! We had the calamari for starters which was fresh and very tasty! I had the pork belly for mains which was so so delicious and probably the best I've ever had! It had a lovely apple flavor! My mom had the oxtail which was very rich tasting but very tasty! Our waitress was also very friendly! I would recommend booking before eating here as it does get very busy but the food is superb!
