Feedback gevenI absolutely adore this restaurant! It's easy to secure a table if you plan ahead, although it can get quite busy on Friday and Saturday nights. The service is delightful, with a charming gentleman who expertly mixes Italian with his English. The prices are clearly listed on the menu, allowing you to spend as little or as much as you desire. My friend and I shared the Eggplant Parmigiana appetizer, which was fantastic. The Truffle Gnocchi and stewed beef dish were also tasty, but the Eggplant Parmigiana stole the show. Our server efficiently set up our table for family-style dining without us even having to ask. I tried the House Cabernet and it was the best I've ever had, ruining all other versions for me. The total bill came to $50 each, including a $20 tip, which I found to be very reasonable for the high-end meal and excellent wine. Being referred to as "Bella" was a lovely added touch. Treat yourself and go experience this restaurant - Ciao!
We went to the restaurant on Saturday night based on recommendations. There were four of us in our party, including my two guests from Florida. We got there at 6:20 pm without a reservation but were seated promptly even though the restaurant was very busy.
We found a jewel in Suisun ! A must for a beautiful dinner
Chianti Osteria is a little slice of traditional Italian heaven brought to Solano county. In this area there are not many choices for an upscale dinner, so this is our choice as favorite special occasion or take the outoftown visitors out. Sometimes they even have live music! Everyone is extremely friendly, good at their job, and clearly happy to see you. If I had to find one thing to pick on, I believe the wine list could be expanded a bit, but you can always bring your own, so it's far from worth removing a star. Do yourself a favor when you're in the area and come here for dinner. The eggplant parm appetizer is awesome even for those that aren't big eggplant fans, and the pappardelle is hard for me to ever pass up. End the night with an affogato for a perfect experience
Are you kidding me???? We arrived there for our reservation only to be told they are not open for dining. What!!! and why did you send us there on a wild goose chase. What was the plan? I haven’t used Open Table for years but two of the places we have been going to have to be reserved thru you. Please explain. Pat Mohler
