Cafe on Maple - Sussex

Sussex Prides itself on its Farming Community atmosphere and with it goes home-cooking in an artful, heritage setting at Café on Maple. The Town of Sussex excels in its high rankings with the national competition to beautify local communities and the plantings on view from the café are gorgeous, as are the artistic outdoor wall murals on nearby historic buildings, not to mention paintings, pottery and handcrafted items on display and for sale inside the heritage building which doubles as a café and mini-museum, owned by the Town. The food was delicious (broccoli soup, chicken sandwich, salad, lemonade, brownie "mountain") home-made and reasonably priced. Staff was friendly and food creatively served.

I discovered this restaurant while traveling on the highway due to the great reviews - and they were all accurate! The ambiance is fantastic.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing! The food is exceptional and the service is top-notch. I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant for its delicious food and kind, attentive service. I love coming here to eat! Make sure to visit.

The staff at this restaurant is incredibly accommodating. As vegans, they tailored their menu to include a delicious falafel dish just for us.
