Viking Cafe

Pass the city and take direction to the beetles you will see indications of this evil bar. leave the car parked and better not take anything, prices are not obited. I went up to the Viking wooden statue you will see at the top to glimpse the Viking village at the distance. it was built an entire set for a movie that never came to shoot, but it gives its game.

They made us pay a total of 2000 isk for the entrance to the viking village, a very high price considering the place, you can see that they take advantage of it, an insult to the beauty of iceland.

Me and my bf stayed here in 2023 and 2019. The best thing about this place is the surroundings there is a big black beach just nearby, with a majestetic view towards Vestrahorn. A very popular photo spot in Iceland. Just google Stokksnes, and you are sold. The guesthouse and cafe have really nice photos on the walls. It's a different and cool place. A great stop if you are doing the ring road.

We stayed at Viking Cafe for 2 nights (6th -8th September). We had 2 rooms booked for ourselves and our friends. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our time exploring the area. We visited the Old Farm Viking Village, Hvalnes lighthouse and Skutafoss waterfall and of course the beach. The room was clean and warm. The breakfast was great and they offered complimentary tea coffee in the cafe during the day (there was also tea coffee facilities in room). We got a pass each day to get through barrier, so we could drive to the Stokksnes Peninsula. We were made to feel very welcome and I would recommend a stay here. The only negative was it was wet and foggy when we were there, so we didn’t get to see the impressive Vestrahorn and Eystrahorn mountains

I was here and was very happy. the caffeine is excellent and the location is excellent as they are literally right at the entrance of the park. stunning walking on the beach. it was also great, great facilities. in any case recommend!
