Happy’s - Swainsboro

Atmosphere, food, is always delicious! Servers are great too! Have eaten there many times and will certainly go back.

We found this little place on our way to savannah. We arrive 15 minutes before closing but they were gracious enough to let us order and sit to eat our lunch. Ordered a chicken Cobb salad with Vidalia onion dressing. Chicken was wonderful. Decent size chunks, seasoned to perfection. I was a little concerned because everything on else on the menu stated shaved or shredded, not sure why. Potato waffle fries were probably the best I 've ever had. Portion was huge. And we would 've given this place a five star rating if it wasn 't for the blasting rock 'n ' roll music. Didn 't mind the music as much as the volume of it, It felt intrusive Service was very friendly, place was very clean.

Ate here months ago and had a good experience. Wanted to try again this week and was disappointed. Went for lunch and found the door was locked. The workers were inside and clearly saw us trying to get in. We then learned from their Facebook post that they were only doing curbside service. No dine in. Ok. That's understandable. But there was no sign on the door informing us of such and it especially ticked me off that the workers saw us from the inside but couldn't even open the door to at least inform us that it was curbside service only. I always try to support local restaurants but I don't think I'll be trying this one again. Do yourself a favor and walk the block over to Leanna's!

Great food!!! Hot, fresh and fast!! Friendly service!!!
