Opium Den Take Away - Swansea

Havent had a chinese meal for years and while I have visited this takeaway years ago and I do remember we weren't that fussed back then. Gave it another shot recently and the main issue is the chicken is just slimy. No other word for it. That's the main issue and I don't think its unique to this establishment either. I don't know how they cook it but its just very slimy. Flavors were a bit bland too so not a strong flavour but that was secondary to the slimy everything. I cant see us returning any time soon but it was nice to have a change regardless.

Set meal for very tasty, good value and cooked and collected on time. One of the best take away swede have had for ages.

This restaurant consistently delivers delicious and light dishes with quick service. Another excellent takeout experience with great prices and flavorful food.

Menu says to call to find out about allergen information. Phoned to find out what was gluten free on the menu, the reply... sorry can’t tell you. Complete waste of time and took my custom elsewhere.

We go here all the time and have never experienced a bad meal. The food is delicious and the menu varied. They only take cash and don’t deliver but it is worth the trip to go and collect. I would absolutely recommend going there to try it for yourself!
