When I got there, I had to wait one because three of four employees were busy buying two young men. at last, I did, they made me stand there and I had a table. I was told that she was out there and pointed out who was the maitre d' and that I had to wait. the maitre d ' finally came and looked at the bookings. she pointed out that I only booked one table for 6 people, but it would probably be with 9 anyway. I kindly said that I had received the confirmation by e-mail from the restaurant that I had changed the number of guests from 6 to 9. it was hit with silence. because the entire restaurant was empty, we could choose a table. we asked if we could add one table for two, as there were so many of us, but they said no. No one sat on the table during our lunch. we had to move the table around us so that everyone had one seat, and then point out that we needed more cutlery/glass, as well as open the windows and balcony door to bring cool air. it took a long time to order and get first drinks and then eat. they had to be remembered several times. food: we tried to get brot before eating, as we were all very hungry at this point, but they said that fejan did not serve brot? we tried to order an appetizer, but it wasn't on camp, so we had to choose something else. when the food arrived, it was in the quite good, with taking out the vegetarian grilled cauliflower, which was seriously undercooked and not very good. cleanliness: on our table was a half-hearted geranie that had used former guests for garbage. I pointed this out to a waitress who looked completely confused. the pot was left in it with müll when we were gone. tables in the dining room, which had soda bottles and coffee sauces on them when we arrived, were not yet cleared when we were gone. all window shops were full of dead insects. the potting plants were devastated. the toilet had wet toilet paper on the floor and was unclean. the entire impression was that the restaurant had no proper administration. the personal did not seem to receive training in the hospitality. Perhaps they were too inexperienced to take initiative and understand and see what had to be done. the impression was also that they felt that they had so many guests that it was not important if some were dissatisfied, always come new. it also seemed as if they were in the last stadia of the season we were there on the 1st august and that they could not put into the labor. the location is fantastic, eating generally good, but service and cleanliness is bad. one expects a higher standard in their price range.
Although there is a little late to give an evaluation, as the restaurant for the season will close within a few weeks, I just have to give it my best rewards. it is really worth a visit as eating, service and the...place is simply fantastic. and up the trip there as the restaurant is located in the outer parts of the stockholm archipel. I was there in this season 2 times, both for lunch and dinner and the experience was both very good.
We had such high expectations for this restaurant, but unfortunately, it did not meet them and left us speechless. We drove all the way to Fejan because we had heard great things about the place. We were a large group of 12 people and planned to have a quick and easy lunch. However, things did not start off well. It took a long time to place our order and even longer to receive our drinks (about 20 minutes). The drinks came in dribs and drabs, with the beer arriving first, followed by water and then the children's soft drinks. After waiting half an hour, we tried to order more drinks but couldn't find a waiter. Eventually, someone told us they would be back in a second but never returned. After an hour of sitting with empty glasses, one of our group had to find a waiter to ask for more drinks and inquire about our food. When the food finally arrived, two dishes were missing because the order had not been sent to the kitchen. The waitress was apologetic and quickly corrected the mistake. The food was decent, with the meatballs and burgers being the favorites among us. However, some dishes lacked a bit of flavor. At the end, when we asked for the bill, we had to track down someone to get it. When we mentioned our disappointing experience to the presumed manager, instead of an apology or gesture of goodwill, we were simply told that dining on our boats would be a better idea. We were taken aback by this response and left without the intention of returning or recommending the restaurant to friends. We hope they learn from their mistakes and improve their service, as it was the main letdown of our visit. Overall, the food was a 3/5, the location was a 5/5, but the service was a 0/5.
This restaurant is a fun spot to relax. We were unable to have dinner as they were fully booked upon arrival, but we enjoyed drinks and snacks on the outdoor deck. It was a pleasant surprise that everything we tried was delicious.
My husband and i with two small children were looking forward to a tranquil weekend in the Stockholm archipelago. But once dinner was over the place turned into a night club-Disco. The Youth hostel is located only 10 meters from the burned down resturant where...there was now a portable tent. This is where there was some kind of reggea night theme disco which carried on until 04.00 am. We had no sleep that night because once the club closed the party carried on outside. There are only very limited things to do on the island, and limited access to the waterfront. Their is a beach on the south end but this is very hard to find. Surprised that the island was full of run down farm equipment and other garbage strewn all over. All in all not worth the visit and we left earlier than planned so we could get some sleep.
