Woodpecker Pizzadeli - Swellendam

Carbonara was very delicious. The sauce was excellent and the pasta was perfectly cooked. The best in town. Their thin based pizza is delicious. They offer a wide variety of toppings including blue cheese and green figs, my favorite.

Outdoor under the trees for hot days, indoors for cooler evenings, wooden floors, thatch and a gas heater give it a cosy atmosphere. Thin crispy bases with toppings right to the edges. Not oily at all. The calzone size was very generous. Pizzas tasted great! Plus a small craft and international beer selection. I think the choc lava pudding is a microwave cause it came out very fast but didn't stop me from enjoying it. Very sweet waitress. Well worth the visit.

One of the best pizza I had. The daw is crazy goooood! Highly recommend.

Pizza was thin and crisp, though it might not have passed as authentic in Italy. When they say large they mean large pizzas. Toppings were good.

Great Vibe. Staff are friendly, and the food is DELICIOUS. Absolutely the best pizza you'll eat. Lasagna is also incredible. I asked for quite a complicated build your own pizza and it was PERFECT and delicious. Will visit again when in Swellendam.
