Desaki - Swiftwater

While staying in the area we saw a lot of signs and advertisements for the restaurant and decided to try it. After sitting down I was surprised by the prices, it felt like a tourist trap. $60 for hibachi seems rather high compared to most places. The food was very good, we ordered off the regular menu, a few apps and a couple rolls. It was just the two of us, no alcohol and the bill was $130 for the food and two sodas. Thankfully I checked the bill before tipping to see they had already added a 20% gratuity. Nice place but the prices are out of hand. It was actually cheaper to eat at the casino we were staying with the same food quality.

Benihana prices for a low quality meal. I am a BIG hibachi fan. I’ve been here about 2 years ago and remember loving the experience but it being to expensive to come often. I finally came back after for so long with a party of 20 people for a birthday celebration and unfortunately no one out of the group was satisfied while leaving. If I recall correctly they use to give out bottles of water if you asked for water. NOT ANYMORE. They give you tap water and it’s absolutely disgusting. I also ordered a mojito which had no mint in at at all. Straight club sodaDidn’t even taste like one and it was $15. The show itself was very good, the workers there are very friendly. I would’ve tipped high if the gratuity wasn’t already added to my bill. It was fun but the food and the prices did not match up. Of course if the food is good you don’t mind paying high prices for QUALITY. But this my noddles, rice and chicken all tasted the same and the portions are small! Had no taste except for extremely salty! I’m pretty sure we were suppose to get salad with our hibachi too NEVER GOT THAT! We then asked for boxes and they give you tiny tiny boxes and squish all of it together making it nearly impossible to open the box without everything falling out later. I will continue to go to itchiban it’s way better and so much cheaper!!

OMG....If you are looking for a fun , awesome experience..this is the place. From our waitress Sydney to the two gentlemen who cooked our food., this was THE best and a BLAST! The food was AMAZING! The atmosphere and the people that we were seated with were the best! The price was definitely worth it considering it was FRESH and filled with flavor, the best part is you have left overs for the next day! I highly recommend Dsaki as a place to put on your bucket list. My daughter had an awesome night celebrating her 17th! Thank you for a lovely memory. Everyone else....CHECK IT OUT!
