There was live band on the night we went - they needed to turn these guys volume up though as they were great, but you could hardly hear them outside! The food was simply divine, oysters like I've never tasted them before. The generous serve of 10 tiger prawns was also a one-way ticket to foodie heaven. Whatever you do, try the fresh seafood, it is crazy good! One bit of feedback is to do something about the lighting on the outside tables at night, as it was a little too dark.
Beautiful view and great service, it was extremely crowded (being a Saturday and an event going on at the opera house that's understandable) and good Chardonnay.
The drinks are 100% better than the quality of the food. The friendliness of the bar staff could be improved but the glassies were lovely and interactive with the patrons. Would recommend to anyone wanting a drink, night out or site seeing.
Great view and food. I love the roast chicken. Good place to hang out with friends. If you're planning to go on a Friday night. Try to book a table.
It's all about the views! If you plan on having a couple of drinks with one of the best views in Sydney then you have to visit opera bar. Located right underneath Sydney Opera House, this bar is very relaxed and offers a good range of standard drinks. If you are hungry you will have to fork out a bit extra for some pretty average food. Had the BBQ beef and the yellow curry which both weren't bad. They were ok if you are hungry and came out rather quickly. However, Id still say this place is definitely better for drinks only after having dinner somewhere else. Seb
