El Conejo Cocina - Taos

Contrary to what is stated on Yelp, this restaurant is actually closed. It is unfortunate as it had received positive reviews.

This restaurant is delicious with a great atmosphere. I loved my blue corn shrimp tacos and my partner couldn't stop talking about the burro bowl. The sangria was also fantastic!

The service at this restaurant is excellent and the food is delicious! The portion sizes may be smaller than at other restaurants, but they are still sufficient. While the cuisine is Mexican, it is lighter in comparison to other Mexican restaurants in New Mexico, yet still packed with flavor. I highly recommend trying the pineapple agua fresca!

El Conejo is an interesting place. You have walk up the stairs on Paseo or go up ramp from inside the Plaza. It's on the second floor and feels like a roof top restaurant. Isn't that cool? I like the music too. They were jamming the Reggae. This place is a nice hangout downtown. The food is really tasty and the service was good. The menu had delicious Mexican food and other grub that was equally as tasteful. El Conejo has a nice vibe and good food.
