The Universal Eatery - TARANA

Visited the Universal Eatery today for breakfast and had one of the best "Big Breakfast" meals ever. All of the elements - bacon, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes and poached eggs were cooked perfectly and the sour dough toast was great. The Vegetarian Breakfast chosen by my partner was also rated as excellent, The coffee was great and the muffins are to die for. The service was friendly and efficient and I thought the total cost was very good. I can thoroughly recommend this great little place to anyone.

I ordered a pizza and it was delicious. The service was very friendly and the owner took time to talk to each diner. I did not have the ribs but from comments heard from other diners they were a real delight. Well done to Mel and the staff.

Brilliant coffee by a local coffee roaster. Also absolutely gorgeous handmade muffins. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Great hidden treasure, Breakfast was amazing , you pay sydney prices but the quality and quantity is well worth the cost and when you concider it's all home made with care and passion You don't mind

Went here for a cup of coffee and ended up having an early lunch because the food looked so great. I just loved their frittarta and salad. My first bite and I almost swooned with delight. The flavour burst in my mouth was amazing. Took one of their muffins home for afternoon tea. I'll be back!
