Pork Belly was dry and chewy, it tasted reheated. Cheeseburger patty had a funky flavour to it and the macaroni was just yuck. I never expect outstanding meals at Cobb and Co but when you’re paying $30 for a main and it’s a small burger and a side of fries you do expect a bit more than it being uneatable. The service was fine, friendly servers.
The kids food had a “funny taste”, the kids roast was completely smothered in gravy, and my meal was unpalatable with a burnt sauce and overcooked fish. The kids drinks were a hit. Would recommend asking not to be seated in the family area unless you have very young or rowdy children.
Drinks were good, and that’s about it. Sent my rare sirloin steak back as was way over cooked. 2nd steak came out raw, a light sear and raw, I asked do your chefs have any respect for the food they cook? I changed to a chicken burger but that was over sauced and disappointing, chips undercooked, no seasoning.
We were after a family dinner out, easy with kids and it mostly was. However, the service wasn’t great. We kept having to ask for things napkins, sauce, can we order…. Would have been good if our waitress was more proactive. The meals were good. We really wanted to be hanging out as a family but we were sat right by a tv screen and then our kids just watched the ads and music videos while eating so was hard to engage with them. A great place for kids as you don’t need to worry about them moving about or making a bit of notice. Fairly decent value for money.
I was left feeling disappointed. For the price you would think the Cobb loaf would be bigger and my battered fish was over cooked which made it rock hard. The kids macaroni cheese was not nice either. The other two meals our table ordered were nice enough but really don't know that I would go back to be honest
