Hokulia Shave Ice - Taylorsville

This restaurant is fantastic in terms of its ambiance, pricing, portion sizes, and staff. Regardless of any inconveniences, we love coming here because it's just around the corner from our home. On hot, sunny days, we often stop by to grab a long or short board, which is just what we need to cool off before heading home to unwind after a scorching day.

Hokulia SHAVE Ice compared to snow (crushed ice) cones is like comparing Marvel to DC movies. Shaved ice holds the flavor in the ice. This location is a fun communal hangout with holes in the tables to allow for the pointy shaped bowls.

This place is great! Even the little one is humble! The flavors are great!(I especially like the Bananna colada). Staff are the best!

My husband is a huge fan of snow cones, and we've tried many different places, but Hokulia is definitely our favorite! The snow cones are incredibly creamy and smooth—it's hard to believe they're just made of ice! They also offer a variety of great combo suggestions. My personal favorite is the Alota Colada; it's absolutely delicious!

At one time, I had the best snow cone! I highly recommend the Da Kine with vanilla ice cream. I also enjoy getting basic cones for my dog.
