Cafe 101 - Teshima

I have contacted with the personal over facebook a day before my visit, they were not open for eating, but they have offered to prepare a vegan Bento box for picking up at an agreed time. the food was excellent and very well presented. a rare fund especially given the missing other vegan options round.

This is a beautiful Japanese kitchen hidden in a quiet village. when I left, there was only 1 Veggie option and it was easy, but delicious and fill. definitiw a great place to stop by and relax after they explore beautiful teshima. Note: visited in november 2018.

After a long day of cycling on teshima, this vegan meal is absolutely perfect! all the portions were unique and tasty and worked together so well. the brown rice is so delicious and fluffy, and the tofu bites were incredibly good. traditional Japanese vegan meals are always so amazing, so I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! there is a mix of traditional tatami seats or normal couch seats if they prefer it.

Beautiful, quiet caffe with a beautiful garden, close to teshima art museum (5-10 minutes by bike) and many other art works. there was only one dish on the menu, but it was vegan and quite tasty, consisting of various vegetables, some tofu, rice and a basic soup/Broth.

The food was delicious and beautifully presented. It was a unique find, especially considering the limited vegan options in the area.
