The day started off slowly, as upon arrival we found that the restaurant did not have enough tables set up for our guests, causing a delay. I am a huge fan of curry in all its varieties - from hot curry to mild curry, Indian curry to Thai curry, and even Caribbean curry. That's why I have to say that the curry at The Hayfield is truly exceptional. The sauces are delicious and filled with tender meat pieces (unlike some places where you only get a few chunks). We decided to try Hayfield Masala after a long day. Unfortunately, our experience went downhill from there. Despite the restaurant being empty, the service was extremely poor. The food was also disappointing, with the vindaloo tasting like it had an overwhelming amount of chili powder. The other dishes we ordered were not enjoyable either, which was a shame as they were local specialties.
