I used to frequent this establishment regularly before the change, and during that time, the food and service were excellent. Unfortunately, the new owners have not lived up to the previous standards. I visited again on 1/6/2022, and simple breakfasts took well over an hour to arrive. When they finally were served, they were mostly inedible – the bacon was extremely hard, the poached eggs were undercooked, and several items in the order were incorrect. The restaurant is severely understaffed, with only one waitress who was doing her best given the circumstances. It's a pity, but I won't be returning.
I visited this restaurant for the first time on Monday, returned again today (Thursday), and plan on going back tomorrow. It is a hidden gem with generous and incredibly tasty food. The staff are attentive and the prices are very reasonable, especially considering the authenticity of the Italian cuisine. This has quickly become our favorite place to dine. A big thank you to the staff for providing such a wonderful dining experience.
We are fortunate to live near this hidden gem of a restaurant. They serve delicious paninis and amazing breakfasts for takeout during lockdown. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. We can't wait to dine in and try their homemade pastas when they reopen for indoor and outdoor seating.
Saw this place on TripAdvisor with great reviews decided to walk 15min from Canary Wharf for breakfast. Glad we did. Fab Coffee, breakfast, service price. £10 per head for cooked breakfast, toast 2 coffees. One of us was low carb, no problem and was asked what extra protein they would like instead. 2 min walk to Thames path too.
Went for the first time today and We will now be going back on a regular basis. Great food, great coffee and excellent service
