Long John Silver's - Troutdale

The location is excellent if you're craving Long John Silver's. I've never had any issues with dining here. The service is quick, the food is tasty, and it's not greasy like at some other places. I would definitely come back again.

I believe this is the standout option for this unique fast food chain in Portland. While it's not gourmet, I really enjoy it. The atmosphere is cozy, and they do offer some healthy options, which I appreciate. I gave those a try, and they weren't bad. However, I'm really here for the fried food. There's also a Taco Bell, which is nice, but the highlight for me is definitely the fish.

I ordered two shrimp and fish combos, and I was really disappointed. Everything was overly fried and covered in so much batter that I could barely taste the shrimp or fish. It's rare for me to not finish a meal, but my wife and I ended up throwing both orders away. I reached out to management, but they never returned my call. This was my first and will be my last time ordering from this restaurant. Food rating: 1/5.

I saw a guy walk out of the bathroom after using it and head straight to the kitchen, where he put on gloves and smiled at me. I was in the bathroom washing my hands before placing my order when he came in. I drove 30 minutes to reach this Long John Silver's restaurant, but I'm not impressed today, folks. Service rating: 1/5.
