Feedback gevenThe air conditioning system was not functioning, and I wasn't made aware of this beforehand. It felt like the owners were neglecting their responsibilities, as the ice machine was also out of order. Additionally, the bed was poorly made and carelessly thrown together. Overall, it was a terrible experience!
This hotel was fantastic! The woman at the front was very sweet to us even after Hotels.com screwed up our check in and wouldn't let us check in. Something to do with hotels.com not giving her the money I paid months ago. It seems she would only be given $84 of the $130 I was charged which seems absolutely outrageous. Makes me think I should use hotels.com only as a way to search for properties, then contact the hotel directly. This woman's life is this hotel but hotels.com takes 35%???? That's pretty insane. That being said, the hotel was fantastic. It was a great pit stop for us on our road trip and the room was exactly as described. Thanks again, I'll be staying here next time I book a trip!
This place is no longer in operation. I wasted a lot of time trying to locate it. Even if it were still here, being next to the hotel doesn't feel safe.
When she returned, she had a piece of paper with charges and told me there was, in fact, a ground floor room available. The costs were $80.00 for the room, $40.00 for our pet, and a refundable $50.00 deposit if the room was acceptable upon checkout. Exhausted, we decided to take the room. Upon entering, we were disappointed. The floor was dirty and dusty, and the furniture was in similar condition. When my son turned on the TV, we found there was only one channel available. My wife attempted to use the restroom, but the toilet seat was very loose and nearly fell off, which was problematic given her mobility issues. Using the bathroom faucet was also frustrating, as it only produced a weak trickle, and it looked like the sheets hadn't been changed. I reported these concerns to the desk clerk when I checked out. Unfortunately, neither the clerk nor any of the other employees seemed concerned. The clerk checked the room for damage and stated that the $50.00 deposit would be refunded, without offering any further comments. I believe that a $0 charge would have been more appropriate for this room, and charging $40.00 for a small pet hardly qualifies as a pet-friendly policy. Karl Keen
Had to come down to Tulare for business. Got a great rate from Booking.com for two nights. I arrived late and called the number provided. The lady who runs the place was real nice. she let me in and got me checked into my room right away. the room was amply sized and clean. I had hot water for my showers and the bed was comfortable. Only bummer was that the pool was closed for the season, which I was looking forward to after working outside in the hot sun. All in all this place met my expectations. If I happen down this way again, I will 99 Palms Inn and Suites.
