This restaurant is well worth a visit beautiful setting with tables set up in lush gardens, fairy lights and candles all around, very romantic! Food and wine were both great, would highly recommend if staying in the area.

The place is wonderful in his simplicity. Also the food was great, with the starter 8 different dishes for 2. Also the main course was delicious. The big minus was the speed in the serving. Within one hour we were ready. That with the big starter should be spread over minimal 2 hours.

Such a lovely setting and our waiter was lovely but unfortunately both my ‘primi piatti’ and ‘secondi piatti’ were inedible and although my husband’s pasta was good he also left his second plate (it was chicken cooked in beer?!! I was surprised by all the good reviews for this place to be honest, perhaps it has changed hands since last summer or we were conned because we were foreigners and the only people in the restaurant for lunch on a Saturday.?? I don’t know.They offered us a choice of ‘terre’ and ‘pesche’ set menu the terre was £20 and pesche was £30. The antipasto was good (the terre was better than the fish, I feel the fish was probably mostly frozen stuff however the food to follow was awful: I’m not one to waste if I have paid for something but I didn’t eat more than two strands of my pasta, he did actually ask if the dish was ok which I respected a lot as that’s the first time in Italy I have ever been asked that but my husband interjected before I could be totally honest!! I’m sure it was obvious from my face it wasn’t good though!! The fish second had so much salt on I couldn’t eat it unfortunately. The dessert was homemade I think but incredible bland, again I didn’t eat this. I wanted to say something but my husband seemed to think they knew that it was not good, so we just paid up and left as soon as we could, I actually felt a bit sick from it, I wouldn’t recommend it, felt robbed to be honest.

I went to eat with relatives. While I was in advance I asked what the table was and if we could sit down, the waitress indicated the table and immediately afterwards asked us if waiting we liked some pittules and something to drink (very good). we started (on advice) with the sea and the land and I have to say good courses and many. then we chose as before the fresh pasta stuffed the painting with mortadella and pistachios really good and abundant portion, not for anything else I did not want the second. If you're passing, prove it's worth it.

Taken from the lights in the middle of the countryside, we decide to dine on this farm. we were greeted with kindness and grace, we were on a table placed in the middle of the garden. home and genuine menu. the classic salento! excellent price
