Masseria Gattamora - UGGIANO LA CHIESA

Very underwhelmed by whole experience. Food basic and miniscule portions, breakfast apalling! convinced left overs from previous night. Room very small, shower pressure and temperature very unpredictable. Questionable maintenance on swimming pool. NO BAR!!!! Were forced to leave 2 days early as the couple we were travelling with had an issue with their room and management were not very helpful in fact probably the worse case of negative customer service i have ever experienced. We were very aggressively told that if we didnt pay for the full 4 nights we had booked legal action would be taken against us even though we had to leave after 2 nights because one of our rooms was uninhabitable due to the overpowering stench. After a very unplesant and intimidating exchange we grudgingly agreed to split the difference and only paid for 1 extra night. Put off whole agriturismo experinence do not recommend in general, very unprofessional and definitely not value for money.

I have been dining at La Gattamora for over 7 years now. The food is local and fresh, the staff are friendly and professional. The garden is a secret gem well worth the visit.

We stayed a couple of days st the masseria and dined twice. The food is typical local, prepared with local ingredients. We had pizzas, meat and pasta dishes and they were all well presented with decent portions. Desserts are delicious. Wine of good quality. Staff is very nice and service is efficient. The “decor” is stunning. The arched room is wonderful. They had a log fire burning. Nice ambiance. We loved it.

We ate here twice while staying at the Masseria. We were underwhelmed by the food and on our third night ate a Skafe which is 5 minutes walk away in the village which I wouldn't say was better quality but it was definitely better value for money.

La location devo dire che merita di essere apprezzata, mi riferisco alla versioen estiva. Vedendo gl iambienti intenri, forse quella invernale dà quel calore che si cerca l'inverno. Magari avvrei gradito qualche attenzione in più ai dettagli, alle postate , ai bicchieri. Il menù non è da agriturismo, anzi direi che i piatti sono complessi ed elaborati e devo dire che non sono niente male.Servizio giovane, i ragazzi si sono difesi bene anche se vi sono diverse lacune nelal gestione globale compresa quella delle disponibilità dei piatti.
