Hôtel Aster Rest. aux Arcades

This hotel is near a huge car park which marks the access to some wonderful walking routes past the river. We weren't there for the walks, we were just on a one night stop en route elsewhere and this place was fine. We had a lovely modern room. The evening meal was fine but not memorable we have had better meals in French hotels. Breakfast was also very sparse.

Nice seats outside at a pond. Good-tasting dishes, mostly large-size (except the coquilles saint jacques main dish which was rather small). Crowded inside the restaurant. The service became worse and worse. When we complained they first acted like it was our fault, and then pointed to the crowd in the restaurant. They did not seem to realise that good service is their redponsibility.

Excellent meal, perfect service. Very professional team. An address to remember and share! I would like to thank the whole team for their welcome.
