Taqueria La Estrella - Vallejo

The bean dip was tasty, but the tortilla chips were disappointing. They didn't taste fresh and seemed like they were from a large bag purchased at a discount store. The Chori-Queso Chips were excessively greasy as well. Unfortunately, the chips ruined the experience, and I couldn't finish my meal. Overall, I was quite disappointed.

This used to be our favorite spot for Mexican food, but the recent shrinkflation in portion sizes has gone too far. The burritos are significantly smaller than they used to be, and the salsa is basically just watery tomatoes. Additionally, the small cups aren't even filled to the brim. It's disappointing because it used to be so much better.

It's evident that a lot of effort and dedication has gone into creating a warm and inviting atmosphere here. The service is outstanding, and the food is fantastic. I highly recommend giving them a try; you won't be disappointed! We visited tonight and are happy to have them in our neighborhood!

We ordered takeout from there and it was fantastic! We didn't use the drive-thru, and the restaurant itself was very clean and inviting. I tried the taco salad, which was perfectly balanced and incredibly delicious!

The burritos are excellent, the staff is friendly, and the drive-thru is very convenient.
