Black Bear Diner Vancouver

Absolutely wonderful! We ordered a variety of dishes. I had the Reuben sandwich, which was perfectly toasted. The bread had a rich buttery flavor and a beautiful crunch. The meat was incredibly tender. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside; I even reheated them in an air fryer! My daughter had the chicken steak benedict, and she said it was delicious! The eggs were cooked perfectly, and the meat was tender as well.

I had a wonderful breakfast this morning and ordered the Volcano, which was quite hearty! The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was delightful. They played a mix of popular hits from the 50s, and I knew every song— I couldn't help but tap my foot along to the music!

Wow! This is an incredibly family-friendly place with amazing food, excellent service, and a fantastic atmosphere. The dining experience is always top-notch. Our server, River, truly went above and beyond to make our visit even better. We’re definitely coming back!

We stayed here on Monday morning on the way out of town. it was the first time we visited a black bear diver. we were the only few in the restaurant. the atmosphere was very beautiful! I ordered the egg benedikt again with haybrown. my man has an amazing looking omelette! it was made with all breakfast meat, two cheese and vegetables. my only complaining was that my ice was boiled over and the sauce was really good and the ham was smokey and crispy. the hash-browns were my least favorites and tasted more like raw kartoffeln than hatch. Even the addition of salt and pfeffer did not help much. the orange juice was really good and the omelet was delicious.

First time here for breakfast and I order the volcano, it was a big serving. They run out of bacon and instead of asking me if I wanted something else, they just gave me extra sausage. The pancakes taste like cake, it would’ve been nice if they put that on the description, so I only ate one. Service was nice and very welcoming.
