Tasty Pot - Vancouver

Wow! What a great spot! We had the sichuan pot as well as the seafood pot. Both were very flavorful and had great fresh ingredients. The takoyaki was absolutely delicious! Xiao long bao also very good. Our waiter recommended Hokkaido milk tea, which was the perfect pairing for my hot and spicy soup! I will absolutely be back.

They have combined two restaurants (Taste of Asia Tasty Pot) and two menus. If you order off the Taste of Asia menu, expect to be disappointed. The food was pretty bland. However, the food off the Tasty Pot menu (which is more expensive) seems to be much better quality and more... tasty . So definitely go for Tasty Pot and not Taste of Asia.

I love their hotpot. So huge I am stuff sharing 1 pot with a friend. Been here a few times already. So healthy and nutritious too especially for cold nights. I don't eat spicy foods so I order no spice. One time I said minimum spice and it was too spicy, they added more broth to make it less spicy, they always add more broth anyway which is great ! My tummy thanks me after that hotpot. I tried their cold beef appetizer and liked it too. They have lots of desert drinks but I don't take those, others seem to like it. The quail eggs are good too. Park right in front, easy.

First off I’d like to say service was trash, I’m a good fanaitc I love tasting new food but this fried rice was just bad, they gave me the bottom over cooked rice that’s just big clumps of hard and tasteful rice but it just ruined it Cuzz I had to pick the hard and the soft wontons where dry, good flavor but dry dry not much sauce. And yet no utensils !
