He has to watch while the rest of us ate. When we asked where the food was, he was rude and abrupt. The food finally came once the rest of us were finished. At the end of the evening, he proceeded to threaten my brother in law that he would cancel our booking should we not adhere to his stupid seating rule (3-4 pax at each table). Appalling treatment, shoddy service and crappy attitude by an owner who knows nothing about customer service. Ruined a perfectly good evening.
The momos were tasty, but then we ordered noodles that were described as a spaghetti-like noodle, but turned out to be a Tibetan dish called Typo. The dish had a strong smell of oregano and tasted like a sweet bolognese, although it was missing the tomato element. When I asked the staff about the dish, they claimed it was definitely Tibetan but couldn't provide further information. Despite the confusing experience, the overall verdict is uncertain. It is disappointing when restaurants don't take responsibility for their products and have a bad attitude towards customers. In the end, it felt like a waste of a good space.
I don't understand why is this place Tibchi's so hyped? I visited this place with my friends and the owner was not so welcoming. He was as if he was doing us a favor.. We placed our order for steam momos n they were quite average I had way better n best momos than that. The pork dimsums were so oily n so fatty with oil dripping. Then came the chicken lollipops which were way too small n tasteless n not worth the money spent. The attitude of the owner is rude n non courteous.. Overall the place is nicely maintained and beautifully done but the attitude of the owner makes it a big Miss for me.. Wouldn't recommend this place unless u wanna waste ur money on something which isn't worth..
We took takeaway from Tibchi's and ordered prawn thupka, chicken starters and cheesecakes. All three items were delicious. This place is a must visit and we plan to go again for take-aways. The huge garden is great to take a stroll but for visitors coming for in-dining experience, would recommend to wear long pants or use mosquito repellant cream as the nature is bountiful around this place
I always enjoy their momos, they are the best I've ever had. I highly recommend this place to any momo lover.
