L'Ambroisie - Vence

Very good gourmet restaurant; We were able to book in advance. Romantic atmosphere perfect for a romantic romantic dinner in love. The reception was very good, the presentation of the dishes and the explanation of each of them were complete. The very distinguished and friendly server was very careful with us. We had 5 services in all, from the entrance to the dessert, to the "amuse-bouche, everything was delicious. A special mention for the cheese tray, exceptional! The homemade bread accompanied it was soft and slightly sweet, in total harmony with the 3 cheeses. Particularity: for a gourmet restaurant, the quantities were all as good as generous, leaving us an impression of intense satisfaction. A refined and quiet atmosphere, very pleasant to enjoy this dinner. A small free parking in the evening is located right across the street.

When I read the comments on the different sites, I had a doubt when I booked and I thought I was big enough to make my own opinion... God I did well! From aperitif to coffee it was a defective, very pleasant welcome, charming map and a really warm setting, in a former cloister, a charming hostess with a delicious accent just like the dishes she served us: taste, flavors coming from elsewhere, creativity, fresh and quality products and summarises a report of justified price... a advice, not necessarily give you the good opinion here. You can believe you won't be disappointed.

A pleasure for taste buds. We enjoyed ourselves throughout the meal. Too bad, we didn’t have more hunger to take a menu and thus discover even more the chef’s cuisine. An excellent value for money and detailed explanations for each dish. We will return to Vence from our next visit.
