Had steak and a fish pasta dish. Steak was a but fatty but ok and the pasta dish was pleasant enough but the sauce wasn't full of flavour.
My husband and I dined here early after a very long flight from Argentina. Christof, our waiter was very friendly and accomodating. Our meal was delicious and the wine fantastic. especially the John Dory fish and Pizza.xxx We look forward to visiting again very soon.
The Pizza here is amazing! They are so big, and the flavour was delicious with a wood burning stove there. Staff were really helpful and the house red was very good quality.
Marilyn and I enjoyed a late dinner on a Sunday night. Our choices were limited along the marina in Villeneuve Loubet since many restaurants were closed, San Marino was open and inviting. The service was excellent even with the restaurant being fairly busy. Marilyn had an over abundance of steamed mussels, and I had Linguini Gambas (shrimp), both excellent. We shared a 1/2 carafe of house red. Since the hour was late we passed on dessert even though the selection was interesting. We were glad to find San Marino open and enjoyed the meal and service. It's probably not a restaurant we'd choose unless we were specifically looking for Italian fare in France. If you're looking for very good Italian seafood in Villeneuve Loubet, San Marino would be an excellent choice.
I came with friends, the two wards were just immangeable so I returned mine. They still had the correction not to count it in the note. The waiter was friendly. Unfortunately we waited an hour before being served. and cherry on the cake one of us who had eaten the milanese escalope was sick. I don't recommend it.
