Top Deck Cafe - WALPOLE

Great little cafe on the second level of the building in the Main Street of Walpole.

Really wanted to like this place! I'm a huge fan of mom-and-pop shops so I swung in for a cup of coffee and maybe a pastry.

Always visit here for dinner when in town off the Bibbulmun Track. A one man band who politely and efficiently serves the table, the water, the wine and cooks and cleans up. Food is always good and there is always local fish. Perfect!

We just had a great meal for a family of 8. The one man band owner did an amazing job of seating, watering and feeding us. The calamari was very tasty and his slow cooked pork belly very very tasty. When compared to some large restaurants he did an amazing job of getting all our meals out at the same time (remembering he is maitre d', batman, waiter and chef!)In addition the setting is very cosy and welcoming. Well worth a visit

On a family trip school holiday weekend ate here once for dinner and bought takeaway another night. Was happy with quality of service and multitasking of the one man on deck.
