Spring Bluff Cafe - Wards Hill

We often ride our bikes to this restaurant, and it is a wonderful spot to enjoy a coffee and a meal in the shade outside, where the bird watching is excellent.

Living in the Ipswich region for 40 years and never having visited Spring Bluff Railway station, just reinforces that often you take your own back yard for granted, this is a lovely spot and the cafe adds to its charm. We were pleasantly surprised at...who well laid out the whole area is, how wonderful it looks and easy it was for people to wander round, we were even lucky enough to see a coal train go through when we were there. The gardens are very nice and I could on imagine what they would like at carnival of flowers time. The cafe has a wide menu selection and is reasonably priced, the staff are very professional and friendly and the food is nice. I have included the menu in the photos. We went for the burgers, the lived up to our expectations, fresh buns and ingredients. This is a place worth visiting and a cafe worth enjoying

The entire area around the old railway station has been restored since the floods of 2011. The old-fashioned charm remains with freight trains passing by, making for some great photo opportunities. The cafe is delightful, possibly run by a Dutch owner based on the beautiful pancakes on the menu. We had lunch outside and enjoyed the great views. If we had sat inside the cafe, we would have been in a charming old house with many different rooms to choose from.

I recently visited the Bluff Cafe with a friend for morning tea. This place has a fantastic landscape with beautiful gardens and an interesting history as a former important railway station. Nowadays, mostly coal trains pass by on their way to the Brisbane Harbour terminal. During our visit, we even got the bonus of seeing one of these trains. The food was good, the staff was okay, and the location was excellent.

Beautiful place for devonshire tee. interesting hiking and fun for children. it is a quiet, green environment, parking space, quiet and a longer walk if you want to go further. pleasant caffe with clean fresh food. affordable.
