Julia's Empanadas - Washington DC

My favorite food in all of Washington, DC! Did you know that they are "baked with love"? I highly recommend the salteñas, spinach, and pear options!

The Jamaican beef empanada was tasteless.The chicken salteña was flavorful.The cashier was rude. We started eating the empanadas at the store and he asked us to not eat in the store as they have rodent issues. ?

Absolutely amazing! Seriously, I would definitely eat here again!

The empanadas were decent in size, but they lacked flavor. I'm not sure if it was just an off day or their usual preparation method, but both the Jamaican and chorizo empanadas I tried were quite dry. On a positive note, the cashier was friendly.

Empanada were ok. They were large but didn’t really have flavor . And idk if it was a bad day or just their style of making it but my Jamaican and Chorizo empanadas were really dry. The cashier was nice though.
