Skwr - Washington DC

Ate from here for the first time today. Server broke down for me how the ordering works as it was a little confusing. Servings seemed fine and not small as reviews have mentioned. Very tasty, very healthy. If the labels for each food were larger that would be good and I agree with a previous review streamlining may be a good idea as the ordering process if tricky for first timers, but I will be ready next time.. Hummus and sahaawaq and salata add a lot of great flavor, chicken and lamb kebab was delicious.

I liked that the food was flavorful. I order a hummus bowl. I don't think that I would do that again. Hummus and chutney and sauce meant that a great deal of the bowl had virtually the same consistency. I don't know if the meat is Halal. I could read around to find that out, but I do like the options offered.

I love Skwr, I work near the restaurant and eat there regularly. The meat is seasoned well, the prices are typical for the area (around $10 for a bowl/meal). I like it because the bowls are similar to Chipotle bowls, but a healthier version. Everything is always fresh and the staff members are friendly and helpful when making decisions about sauces/spreads and other options. Great place!!

Great Mediterranean Styled Bowls! Lamb and chicken are seasoned very well (not too salty). Plenty toppings and sauces to choose form. Staff are friendly and ready to answer questions. They also have Puck's Fountain Service for their beverages.
