Thomas Sweet Ice Cream - Washington DC

T-Sweet's serves the BEST ice cream in Washington. Every flavor is made in-house, and there are plenty to choose from! The frozen yogurt options are excellent too. You really can't go wrong here, but if you find it hard to choose, don’t hesitate to ask for a sample (or two, or three, or even four!).

This is some of the best ice cream I've ever tasted! I've been a long-time fan, and the prices are much more affordable compared to Cold Stone!

The ice cream was good, and the coffee and tiramisu were outstanding. The mango flavor was nice, while the pistachio was just okay. I ordered some truffles, but the packaging was disappointing. They mentioned having boxes for 24 truffles or more, but the portion sizes were excessive. It was just too much. Given that this is a place frequented by the US president, I expected a higher standard.

There's a line outside this place, and honestly, I don't understand the fuss over the ice cream. It doesn't seem anything special to me. They charged us an extra 30 cents for each cone simply because we asked to have our ice cream served in a cup with the cone on top! I'm baffled by all the hype. Plus, there are hardly any options for those who can't have milk; the only choice is sorbet, which is pretty standard. They don't even offer any dairy-free ice cream.

This place was terrible; I would never recommend coming here. As soon as I walked in, I noticed that the workers weren't wearing gloves, which was very concerning. They were also quite rude, making the experience even worse. Additionally, many of the toppings had flies on them. However, I have to admit that the ice was not bad.
