Firefly - Washington, D.C.

Great dinner, great service, great drinks! If I’m ever in DC again, I would definitely go back!

Waiter hit my brother-in-law in the head with a pitcher and did nothing. It made a loud noise. The other table all noticed. How does that not get a small discount or dessert. Also, they failed to tell Open Table that we attended our reservation, so I got a bad boy e-mail from Open Table. All in all, Firefly was a disaster. There are much better, much cheaper places in Dupont.

Nice cocktails and ambiance. The food was very good, specifically the truffle fries, the Brussel sprouts and the crab avocado toast. Nice evening before flying home.

Not bottomless mimosas but drinks are very reasonably priced for brunch. Lovely interior, service was outstanding.

I would recommend if you are staying at the hotel or are in the vicinity. The interior of restaurant is cute and cozy and the service is good. The food is also good, but a bit overpriced maybe because it is connected to a hotel. $13 for a wedge salad, $22 for a hamburger, $32 for steak fritte, seems high even by DC standards and there are so many other restaurants offering these items at $3 $4 less (i.e., Le Diplomate, Bistro du Coin).
