The food was good. Little on the expensive side. Parking on the street will be difficult to find, (specially on the weekends) and you will do well if you read the parking signs carefully. Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian options available Dietary restrictions: No dietary information posted Parking: If parking on the street, read the posted signs. Kid-friendliness: Kids will have fun if they behave themselves. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair friendly
While visiting LA for business I met my nephew, and friend for dinner, I arrived first. Max, the maitre’d was warm, welcoming Gr8 smile as was Zoe his partner at the door. The bartender Joseph, was outgoing, kind, hospitable I enjoyed interacting with him, on the back patio our server came never got his name however he was quick witted, fun he took our drink apps order than a different server appeared no announcement made but the service changed Immeadiately. The new server left menus on the table throughout dinner, no smile, or pleasantries whatsoever, like a Robot he dropped the check didn’t ask how the meal was?. Or if we would like desert?. My nephew asked for boxes he dropped them and vanished. The boxes didn’t close I asked for tape which the servers assistant brought immediately, I also requested a bag, What started out 1st. class went South. I spoke to the original server and explained how disappointing our experience was, he replied his manager requested help for a wedding party a few seats away, We should not have been sat on the back patio because the lack of service did not match the rest Of the establishment. When we were leaving I thanked Joseph at the bar, Max, the maite’d and our original server. It takes 1 person to make a bad impression, I would try it again knowning who to ask for.
We ordered bread and got a piece of pizza dough and a little butter for $9. The outside patio was a really cool atmosphere but once it got dark I couldn't see anything! Also, the music was really loud and an oddly random playlist. With the right music it could be such a vibe. Burrata pizza was great but pretty much every dish we got (steak, crab pasta, cauliflower, branzino was sub par for how much everything was. Maybe just an off night?
The food is fairly mediocre relative to the price. The mango smoothie bowl is 14 bucks and has frozen chunks of ice in it, 4 pieces of cacao nib and the lightest sprinkling of granola you’ve ever seen. The gravlox did not taste fresh. Just not worth it, despite being in a nice area and having a pleasant ambiance. They also don’t take Apple Pay. Everleigh? Nah. Everneigh.
Atmosphere, drinks, food beyond tasteful. The Dungeness Crab Pasta was filled with so much flavor and cooked perfectly. I recommend giving their Mocktails a try!
